Ryan Rehnborg

How did HE go?

A SEVERE BOUT OF WEREWOLFITIS.

A lifelong filmmaker and special effects artist, Ryan loves the timed film competition platform as a way to advance filmmaking at every level. Since 2009, he has been producing films, music videos, commercials, and more under the banner of Surly Urchin Studios. Ryan specializes in post-production, editing award-winning feature and short films, creating visual effects and motion graphics, and generally seizing every opportunity to use the keyboard like a wizard’s staff.

A repeat 54 Film Fest winner with titles like “The Rat King” and “Watch the Skies,” Ryan has enjoyed seeing the community grow and improve significantly over the years. Even while working full-time in production, he has relished his chances to escape into a non-stop weekend of breakneck filmmaking, and he describes the 54 as “skydiving for filmmakers” to anyone who asks. He hopes to help his fellow 54 Film Fest producers to provide a seamless and inspiring timed competition experience.
